Aegis Mortgage is no longer accepting loan applications. Below is what we received from Aegis this morning:

Because of extreme changes in the markets and rapid decline in conditions in the secondary mortgage and national real estate markets, Aegis has been forced to suspend taking applications for new mortgage loans from its broker customers and has ceased the funding process for loans in our pipeline.

Compliance/Closing Package

We have been getting a lot of incomplete closing packages sent to our corporate office. Please make sure to refer to the Checklist & Loan Stacking Form when putting your closing/compliance package together. Please make sure everything is in order and your file is organized in 2 parts (left & right). The complete closing package & check need to be mailed to our corporate office, we DO NOT accept faxed packages.
